YARD SALE AT THE MUSEUM OF THE HOME

This designer-filled yard sale at the Museum of the Home is more than just where you’ll find your new fave lamp, it’s also a way you can help fundraise to support those facing homelessness in London. The museum’s Behind the Door campaign, in collaboration with London Homeless Collective, will receive a percentage of the takings from each seller to go towards the 25+ charities they work with. There’ll be stalls from local Hackney makers and over 70 designers, including Alexa Chung,  Mouki Mou, Caramel and Maya Njie, selling a mix of exclusive homeware, antique furniture and vintage accessories. Plus, visitors can also take part in their raffle, learn from workshops like fabric dyeing and flower arranging, and have a look around the museum and its grounds. Tickets are £5-15 and if you grab yours soon you’ll get access to the bargains an hour earlier than everyone else.
