BATTERSEA POWER STATION ANNOUNCES FIRST WAVE OF NEW EATERIES

Battersea Power Station is currently undergoing a pretty big (and spenny) redevelopment, which includes a bunch of new eateries set to open their doors inside the Grade II listed power station later this year. The first wave of restaurant and cafes have just been released and let’s just say, it’s an interesting mix…

Alongside the 14 restaurants already open in Battersea‘s Circus West Village and the news that Roti King will be joining them with its first South London spot, the line-up includes Le Bab which is also opening at Canary Wharf’s new Market Halls, a third site from the pancake peeps Where The Pancakes Are, the first UK spot of big Korean bakery Paris Baguette, Europe’s most popular poke bowl chain Poke House, Gordon Ramsay’s Bread Street Kitchen and vegan joint Clean Kitchen Club too.

It would have been nice to see some local Battersea names in the mix, but there you go. As for an opening date, there’s nothing official just yet, but we’re expecting doors to open in September and if you’re a little let down by that line-up, maybe keep an eye on what the new Arcade Food Hall or African food hall has to offer instead.
