Biossance Squalane + Amino Acid Aloe Gentle Cleanser Review

[unpaid/sample/affiliate/ad] This brand doesn’t seem to put a foot wrong when it comes to bringing out beautiful skin care. I can, hand on heart, say I wouldn’t have looked twice at it if it hadn’t been sent to me because it somehow doesn’t look as good as it actually is. It’s understated so you need to get to know it and while it’s not cheap, it’s not a budget blower either.

Biossance Squalane + Amino Acid Aloe Gentle Cleanser

I’m already a big fan of their lip balm (HERE) and it’s in more or less daily use – I think I’m on my third pot. The scent is both clean and botanical and it’s a gel that turns into a soft foam. I found it incredibly effective – my skin felt really clean but crucially, not squeaky clean. It got rid of all my make up – even mascara (but it wasn’t waterproof) – and left my skin feeling soft and fresh. It’s for you if you like a wash-off cleanser and your skin runs more oily than dry – it’s not specifically for oily skin, but dry skin doesn’t really like water in general – and you like a fresh feel post cleanse. It’s not for you if you like to massage while you cleanse and prefer balm like textures.

Biossance Squalane + Amino Acid Aloe Gentle Cleanser

Squalane, as a reminder, mimics the skin’s natural fatty oils which makes it a good emollient. If you’re after a new cleanser and you like to wash off or do a quick in-shower morning cleanse, I’d highly recommend Biossance Squalane + Amino Acid Aloe Gentle Cleanser which is £20 HERE, non-affiliate HERE. PS In the main picture is an aloe plant (gift from brand) which I don’t think I’ve ever seen before.
