Megan Fox‘s public offer to join the British girl band the Spice Girls was accompanied by none other than a pair of pigtails. She relayed the message to the girl group by way of an Instagram post on February 28. “Offering myself to the spice girls if they are in need of a new member. BDSM spice,” Fox proposed in her post’s caption. 

The two selfies that Fox paired with her plea to join the girl band show the actor wearing two pigtails styled in some loose, mermaid-like waves. They looked as if they could have been created using a triple barrel hair iron, which is pretty much the gold standard for achieving those waves.

While we can’t help but wonder how she nailed those mermaid waves, the actor’s request to join the Spice Girls also paid tribute to Baby Spice’s signature pigtails. We’re almost certain that Fox’s efforts to recreate those iconic pigtails didn’t go unnoticed by Baby Spice herself, aka Emma Bunton. In fact, the nod to the pigtails probably earned Fox some bonus points amongst the members of the girl band. 

No word yet on if Megan Fox has been accepted into the band, but we’re hoping to see Megan’s spin on all the members of the Spice Girls. To win them over, we’d like to see her recreate another one of the band member’s iconic hairstyles. We’re betting that Victoria Beckham‘s high pony and face-framing layers will be next.
