The BAFTAs are back and more beautiful than ever thanks to these hair and makeup looks
At long last, the BAFTAs are back in all their glory after a two year hiatus taking place at the decadent Royal Albert Hall. The prestigious awards ceremony has celebrities flocking from all over the world to celebrate the best acting and film talent from the past year – and there’s not a single Zoom screen in sight.
Attendees gracing the red carpet include Lady Gaga, who has been nominated for Leading Actress for her stunning performance in House of Gucci, as well as Florence Pugh, Millie Bobby Brown, Simone Ashley and Emma Watson, who will each be presenting an award during tonight’s ceremony.
Florence stunned in a smart black mini dress, a fierce feline flicked eyeliner and a bejewelled updo, while Millie showcased slicked-down curtain bangs and a smouldering smokey eye. Lady GaGa, who always brings her a-game to every red carpet, stepped out in classic Hollywood glam complete with platinum 1920s finger waves, fluttery lashes and a satin nude lip.
There’s also a throng of up and coming talent, including English-Australian actress Shalom Brune-Franklin, who’s known for her roles in Our Girl and Line Of Duty. For the glamorous event, Shalom wore a sparkling, cut-out black gown, which she paired with a classic smokey eye, created by makeup artist Gina Kane. To create her eye look, Gina used Lancôme Hypnôse Eyeshadow Palette in Bronze Absolu and Lash Idôle Mascara to finish.
