Kim Kardashian just posted Pete Davidson on her Instagram for the first time

Ring the bells! Fetch the town crier! Kim Kardashian hath finally posted her beau Pete Davison to her Instagram grid! They were pictured…hanging out!

Despite appearing together in a Flavor Flav Instagram post back in November 2021, Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson have laid low on their own social media accounts, even as their relationship became more serious. Kim has recently said that her SNL-star boyfriend might someday appear on her family’s new Hulu show, but Instagram seemed to be one platform they were steering clear of. Until now.

On Friday 11 March, the Skims founder posted a five-picture carousel to her grid. In the first and third slides, she shows off her outfit: metallic boots and a holographic fringe coat accessorised with black shades. But in the second and fourth, she’s goofing around with Pete. The pair appear to be making kissy faces in a hotel hallway while he holds what looks like an unlit joint.

The fifth slide is a bit of dialogue from the crime thriller The Town, in which Ben Affleck asks Jeremy Renner to help him enact some violence without asking any questions, and Renner agrees, responding simply, “Whose car are we gonna take?” She also used that line for the caption, implying total loyalty and trust.

After being up for only an hour, the post had already attracted over a million likes as fans and followers cheered the debut of KimPete. Davidson isn’t currently on the platform, so she couldn’t tag him, but this is about as official as things get for celebrities in 2022. The grid. The grid!

“I love this,” wrote Khloé Kardashian, while bestie Stephanie Shepherd commented, “❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥.”

Kim Kardashian recently faced backlash for telling women to “get your f*cking ass up and work” and adding, “It seems like nobody wants to work these days.” Many have referred to these statements as wildly “tone-deaf” and “privileged.” We’re not saying that the reality star is using these photos of Pete as a way to change the subject, but the timing is definitely interesting!

Welcome to the grid, Pete Davidson.
