Hildun Beauty Kajal Liners
[unpaid/sample] I’m very much in love with my Victoria Beckham Beauty kohl eyeliner in brown. It’s rich and sumptuous and I wear it a lot. So, I didn’t really think it could be bettered but this new brand from Ireland has shown that it can – or at least sit in exactly the same row. In fact, if I was feeling risky I might say they’re the same because they’re both manufactured in Germany.
Hildun Beauty is a small brand – only 3 products so far – founded in Ireland by Mark & Suzy Dunne; Suzy is a beauty enthusiast and beauty reviewer and she’s found a gap in the market for next level kohls that are buttery and densely pigmented but don’t empty out your beauty wallet.
Both the brown and the black are so intense that in swatching my arm looked Sharpie’d and yet the texture is like rich velvet. You can use on both the inner rims of the eyes or as a liner and the brush that you can buy either separately or as part of the set has one end for smudging and one end for winging. I can’t wing a liner – it’s just impossible – but I do love to smudge kohl on my top lid by my lash line. It’s the most fool-proof way to wear a black or brown eyeliner – just smoke out the imperfections and remember precision is very over-rated. If you do like a sharp line, the formula sets after application but don’t put any fingers near it til it has ;-).
Hildun Beauty is a great find – I’m instantly a convert and impatiently waiting for more colours. You can find Hildun HERE – the kohls are £16 each or £39 for both Chocolate, Noir and the brush. If you are not usually a kohl user, go gently – the pencils impart a lot of colour at once so try it on your hand first to get the measure of it and then apply very lightly.
