Aldi garden furniture has kicked up a notch and we’re buying it all
Aldi garden furniture has taken the UK by storm the past couple years. Whether it was the sell-out hanging egg chair or the inflatable hot tub (which had everyone in a shopping frenzy back in lockdown), buyers left, right and centre were chomping at the bit for everything the part-time garden furniture store had to offer. Now, for 2022, they’ve done it again and we’re desperate to get our hands on the bistro sets, sun loungers and deck chairs (at a fraction of the price you’d expect).
Our favourite piece of Aldi garden furniture? It has got to be this rattan/wicker-style coffee table set which retails at less than £200. Rivalling some of the offerings from high-end brand Tikamoon at a smidge of the price, this set will inject some Mediterranean heat with Provencal vibes and a natural finish, something which, if you ask us, we could all do with a bit of here in cloudy Britain.
Coming in at a close second is Aldi’s snug seat; at £249.99 it’s a really versatile piece and could easily be used as a daybed, extra seating for guests or even – if you add a parasol – a cabana of sorts.
We do have one reservation, and it’s only fair to share it… Aldi garden furniture sells FAST, so if you think you might want something, nab it ASAP or face the disappointment when all your pals are flaunting all the latest outdoor bargs while you’re en route to another IKEA trip.
After more outdoor essentials? Head this way for the best BBQs, over here for the best chimineas and the best fire pits so you can keep the party going late into the night and, for the picnic fanatics, see our collection of the best picnic blankets, picnic baskets, melamine plates and picnic sets. Elsewhere, we’ve got round ups of the best garden parasols, best outdoor rugs, best hanging egg chairs and even deck chairs, to bring that beach aesthetic into your back garden.
