Pulled pork, sticky ribs, juicy burgers and BBQ heaven…what’s all that about…MEAT! Yes the one and only Meatopia is back and it’s another three-day affair, with the over-18s only Friday late shift returning alongside festival Saturday and carnival Sunday. Housed at Tobacco Dock the best meat-based restaurants around take up residency for one big weekend of BBQ smokey, meaty goodness.

From London, the likes of Cue Point, Fallow, Melissa Thompson & Maureen Tyne, Mangal II, Big Has, Adriana Cavita, Richard Corrigan, Akwasi Brenya-Mensa, Ruben’s Ruebens and Hawksmoor will be cooking at the fest this year. Roberta Hall-McCarron of The Little Chartroom in Edinburgh, Luke French from Joro in Sheffield, and Bristol-based Genevieve Taylor will all also be coming to town to cook up a storm, with many more chefs hitting the grills. Once again TAPtopia has the brews covered, and with butchery demos and live music, it’s set to be three days of meaty madness. Stretchy trousers at the ready.
