Dine In The Clouds At London’s Literal Sky High Restaurant • London In The Sky

In London, your dining options are limitless. Land? The capital has thousands and thousands of options. Sea? Well, there’s plenty of river cruises. Air? London In The Sky has you covered. The ultimate pop-up dining experience – a wildly fought over title in this ole’ city – is back, with its longest summer session to date! Between mid May and August 29 (hello, bank holiday), you can satisfy your stomach and appetite for adventure by dining 100 feet up in the sky. It takes dining alfresco to a whole new level.

Serving up brunch, lunch, afternoon tea, sunset dinner or cocktails only, depending on your choice of ‘flight’, London In The Sky offers a dining experience unlike any other. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed into a flora-filled garden area, located next to the O2 Arena, where you can steady your nerves with a drink from the bar, or just get the good vibes going from ground level. We recommend popping to the loo before the next bit – there’s no running off to the bathroom once you’re dangling in the sky. When your session is ready, you’ll be strapped in securely to some rather plush seats, before being hoisted up on a secure table by a huge crane, accompanied by a chef, wait staff and 21 other diners.

As you gaze over the iconic London cityscape, a chef will whip up delicious dishes right in the centre of the table, while wait staff get the vibes going, dancing at 100 feet and filling your glass with some bubbly or a cocktail. If you’re feeling brave, chair dancing is recommended, as is taking a little spin to admire the 360-degree panoramas. Or, you know, a vice-like grip on the table with one hand, as you enjoy the meal with the other suffices too…

Once you’ve got your feet firmly back on the ground, you can enjoy some time in the garden, getting more drinks in and reliving your experience as you watch the next group head up. Every weekend of this summer season, London In The Sky will embrace a festival feel, with live music acts for you to enjoy before and after your ‘flight’.

Sessions will run between 9am and 9pm until August 29; tickets start at £79 per person and you can purchase yours here.
