London’s ‘Small Is Beautiful’ Exhibition Has Been Extended For One Last Chance To Visit

If you haven’t already heard about Small Is Beautiful by now, you must have been playing the world’s longest game of hide & seek with the internet. So now that you’ve found your phone it’s about time for you to find your way down to Small Is Beautiful. The exhibition is one of the largest collections of miniature art in Europe and hosts the collective work of 34 international and local artists. The exhibition has been open since April, and due to massive demand, it’s been extended for a final few weeks until September 4. So be sure to get your tickets before then if this tickles your fancy!

The dainty but intricate artwork has enamoured crowds of all ages since the immersive exhibition’s arrival in London. In case you needed some extra insight to convince you here’s what guests have had to say about Small Is Beautiful:

💬 Hanna ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: “Wonderful exhibition, beautifully curated and laid out, made me laugh out loud and feel like a kid again. I recommend it to everyone.”
💬 Peter ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: “The most wonderful, whimsical, mind-blowing collection of art. Every single piece there was exquisite and worth looking at for an hour in itself. Cannot recommend this exhibition enough for any age group.”
💬 Isabelle ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐: “Awe-inspiring and beautifully curated exhibition! Such talent and creativity and patience on display! We all (family from ages 6 to 48 years) loved it.”

The exhibition does an amazing job of entrancing you with the unique and poetic world of miniature art. It does so through the 143 miniature pieces and 80 photographs, a behind the scenes video space giving you a snapshot of the artists’ workshops, and DIY workshops for children. It is more than just a simple exhibition set up though, hide & seek was an appropriate way to introduce this exhibition as its layout is deceiving. Whilst most of the artwork is laid out traditionally, some of the displays go for a unique twist. So keep your eyes peeled if you want to get the most out of this delightful exhibition as some of the artworks show up in unexpected places.

Get your skates on however as this miniature exhibition (currently boasting a rating of 4.9/5 from visitors) won’t be around forever. At the time of writing, the exhibition is in town until September, but tickets are expected to disappear quickly. So why wait? Save yourself the hassle of scrambling to get last minute tickets and secure yours now. Make a day of it and take in the elegance of South Kensington as a group before you bring yourself to Small Is Beautiful for the main event.
