Tickets To This Fabulous Chinese Food Festival Are Now On Sale

We all love the weekend treat of a takeaway, right? Well, this August Bank Holiday weekend (August 26–28), you can enjoy the fine cuisine of Britain’s favourite takeaway in the gorgeous surrounds of a historical, Georgian garden, moments from the River Thames. The Chinese Food Festival will bring together authentic Chinese and Pan Asian dishes, Chinese art workshops and demos, a craft market, and more that honour Chinese food and culture.

What can you expect at the Chinese Food Festival?

After success in previous years, the annual Chinese Food Festival has been on hiatus, thanks to Covid regulations. However, they are back for 2022 bigger and better than ever. For the first time, the event will be ticketed, and will take place at Bedford Square Gardens, London’s largest private Georgian garden, and the perfect place to soak up the bank holiday sun (fingers crossed!) while tantalising your tastebuds with delicious food from over 10 different stalls.

Aside from feasting, there are plenty of other activities available across the Friday–Sunday that provide a taste of Chinese culture. Head to the workshop area to try your hand at lantern making or creating enamel jewellery, or wander over to the Craft Market to purchase jewellery and handmade artworks. If you’d rather kick back and soak in the atmosphere, there’ll be mesmerising performances, including folk music, classical dance and immersive Han costume play.
