This is the Christmas lights experience straight out of a fever dream. Kenwood, on Hampstead Heath, is going to be transformed into a glittering winter wonderland from December 2. The walking trail will have you sauntering through the natural beauty of Kenwood alongside jaw-dropping installations and multisensory displays of light and sound. These include the likes of a laser garden, a snowflake house, and a fire garden that’ll warm up even the chilliest of winter nights. They’re not your average Christmas lights experience, they’ll ignite the magic of Christmas in even the biggest Scrooge. Making a grand return for their second year with huge interest shown to the waitlist for this year, tickets are now on sale for 2022.

You can’t do Christmas without food and drink getting involved, and across your picturesque stroll, there are plenty of options available. Your festive favourites will all be making an appearance. Mince pies, mulled wine, spiced cider, and more will all be available along the trail at specified points. This is all amidst the gorgeous Hampstead Heath locale which offers spectacular views of London, especially from Kenwood. So whilst you’re taking in the light shows, sculptures, and installations make sure you don’t miss out on the opportunity to appreciate the stunning natural scenery and views – and you’ll have plenty of time to do it because you can stay and explore for as long as you like.
