KOYA KO ANNOUNCES NEXT BATCH OF GUEST CHEFS FOR THEIR UDON SERIES

For the first time ever, udon noodle specialists Koya are running collab series where a range of guest chefs will create a limited edition udon special available for one month only. Koya & Ko, on exclusively at Koya Ko in London Fields, was inspired by the time in lockdown where the Koya team sent Koya Mail omiyage udon & dashi packages to chef friends, who then pimped up their dishes at home. The series kicked off back in June with with Max Rocha of Cafe Cecilia, Mitshel Ibrahim of Ombra, Florence Knight from Sessions Arts Club and Ben Chapman from Smoking Goat putting their spins on Koya’s signature udon and dashi, and here’s who else is also getting involved for the second round:

Emily and Amy Chung, The Rangoon Sisters | Nangyi thoke Burmese udon
Sarit Packer & Itamar Srulovich, Honey & Co | Pickled cucumber, shredded cabbage, tahini, sesame & chilli udon
Owen Barratt, Monty’s Deli | Beef rib udon with udon with mustard greens, spring onion & grated ginger
Ana Gonçalves & Zijun Meng, Tata Eatery | Salted cod, fried straw potatoes, egg & onion udon

The specials will be hitting the Koya Ko blackboard for a for a month at a time, so keep an eye out on the restaurant’s socials for the dates of each one so you don’t miss your fave!
