GET SUSTAINABLE XMAS TREES THAT SUPPORT UKRAINIAN REFUGEES
Christmas tree delivery service Green Elf Trees launched in the midst of lockdown 2.0 back in 2020 to help everyone with their Christmas prep, and after employing out of work entertainers and musicians to run deliveries last year, the biz is back with another great initiative for the 2022 festive season.
The team sources sustainable British trees from their partner growers in the UK and then delivers them using electric vehicles across the country (you can check their delivery info here). You can get traditional cut trees that can be collected post-Christmas to ensure the trees are recycled or composted rather than left on the streets, or you can get rentable, pot-grown trees that can be collected and replanted in the South East.
This year, for every tree sold Green Elf will donate £3 to a Ukrainian refugee charity here in the UK (or you can choose for the donation on your behalf to go to Mind, Great Ormond St Children’s Hospital, British Red Cross, Crisis or Dogs Trust) and they’ll also be gifting trees to Ukrainian families now living in the UK – now that’s how you spread Christmas cheer.
