A Fabulously Festive London Bridge Rooftop Bar Has Launched In Time For Christmas

Christmas lovers in the capital will be wise to the paradise that is London Bridge in November and December. Setting up shop by the Thames, one of the city’s finest festive hubs has it all

Thanks to the Christmas by the River market, visitors can shuffle through pop-up bars—a smidgen of mulled wine here, a drop of beer there—and plenty of other festive entertainment. But what if, and stay with me here, you could throw a trip up to the clouds (of sorts) into that equation?

Thanks to London Bridge Rooftop Bar, that’s now possible. Just think, a trip to the markets can be topped off with a skip and a jump up the stairs to catch a marvellous view of St Paul’s Cathedral.

It’s gone into full festive overdrive, with the 220-cover terrace kitted out with Christmas trees and serving up mulled wine and seasonal food.

What food and drink, you say?

Yes, even with views out to the Shard, The London Eye and The Tower of London, this is still, objectively, the most important thing. Friends, they’ve got the full Christmas band together.

Pigs in blankets. Mince pies. Mulled wine. And, *checks notes*, a special Christmas burger. Yes, that last one is less traditional, but every band needs a wildcard. Wash it down with a cup of orange hot chocolate and you’ll be as ready for Christmas as Buddy the elf.

There’s even a bar within the rooftop bar, the 6th floor speakeasy. Here, 20 people can shuffle in to watch a World Cup game, enjoy live DJs and a high-end cocktail experience.

Plus, you can rest assured that out on the festive terrace, you can eat and drink without catching a chill, with heaters spread around the bar. With the views and the heat, it’s perfect settings for the roster of DJs spinning a mix of the best house, disco and electronic tunes.

New Year’s Eve bookings are also available for those wishing to end 2022 gazing out over London’s skyline. Bookings start at £5 per person (rising to £40 for midnight tickets) and include a glass of prosecco.
