2. Relish in a ‘tea-total’ bottomless brunch at Daisy Green Collection’s cafes

While booze is a big part of bottomless brunch, the whole experience is a lot more than that: gathering the gang, popping the corks, laughing for hours on end… The Daisy Green Collection‘s cafes know this too, which is why they’re offering a booze-free bottomless brunch experience, serving their indulgently Instagrammable dishes with unlimited REAL sparkling teas. You’ll be popping bottles all afternoon, but without the headache the next day. With locations all over London, you’re sure to find a branch nearby.
By now, you’re probably familiar with the happiest place in London, the multi-sensory Dopamine Land museum. We do bang on about it here at Secret London, after all. Did you know, after you’ve ventured through their bold and bright, happiness-inducing rooms, there is a dedicated bar at the end? The Bubble Bar keeps the smiles coming with their fun menu, which includes mocktail-style bubble tea mocktails, in flavours such as blackberry, lime and passionfruit. Be sure to snap a pic in the ballpit bath nearby! You’ll find Dopamine Land minutes from South Kensington tube station.
A short amble from the museums of the aforementioned South Ken, you’ll find MY&SANNE, a gorgeous restaurant serving hearty dishes and fantastically fresh, tempting desserts. What’s more, their non-alcohol offering is sublime, as they put just as much care into the presentation of these drinks as they do their cocktails. With mocktails such as Beauty & the Beast, which is served in a flourish of smoke, and the bright blue Where Is Your Smile?, you’ll be spoilt for choice. 5–6. Accompany your meal with a non-alcoholic twist on a classic

Do you have a go-to cocktail? Well, if the answer is “yes, a margarita”, head to Wahaca this January. They’ve launched their first alcohol-free margarita, using the Pentire Adrift botanical non-alcoholic spirit, shaken with lime and agave, served in a glass with a chilli salt rim.
If your go-to is a negroni (sbagliato or not), you’re also in luck. Italian restaurant Spaghetti House have created the aptly name NOgroni, using San Bitter, tonic and squeezed orange juice.
If you like to enjoy your mocktails with a side of panoramic views of London, venture to the rooftop restaurant and terrace of Tattu London. The lavish Chinese restaurant near Tottenham Court Road has crafted refreshing alcohol-free mocktails, such as the Sweet Skullduggery, made with kiwi, blueberries and apple, and the Eventide Pagoda, which mixes pear, honey and jasmine. Not only will these drinks quench your thirst, but they’re pretty damn gorgeous to look at too.

The newly opened Florattica occupies the 11th floor of the Canopy by Hilton London City, championing all things floral. The space is pretty inside and out – ‘out’ being the panoramic views across The City from the floor-to-ceiling windows – and the drinks take guests on a sensory journey through the world of flowers. The booze-free mocktail options make use of ingredients such as jasmine and elderflower cordial, green tea, and Three Spirit’s non-alcoholic spirits.
9. Let loose with at one of Records Bars’ venues, with a mocktail in hand
Records Bars boasts a slew of live music venues in the capital, including Eastcheap Records, Old St Records, Venn St Records and Northcote Records, and for January, they’ve partnered with Caleño, a tropical non-alcoholic spirits brand. Kick back post work at one of the brand’s spots to listen to talented performers, as you enjoy a Raspberry Collins, mango and passionfruit daiquiri, or mojito – all without a drop of alcohol.
10. Get the bevs in at esteemed pub The Chelsea Pig

Set just off the Kings Road, The Chelsea Pig is local pub with a decidedly upmarket feel. This month, they’re offering two mocktail options, alongside their elevated pub grub and delightful interiors: Oh-Leave, a mix of apple and fennel cordial, with olive lemonade; and the A-Pig-Etif, which uses Seedlip spice 94, Amarico, and Three Spirit’s social elixir.
11–12. Spend an afternoon drinking mocktails at a lavish hotel bar

Whether you opt to stay overnight, or prefer to just visit for the day, many of London’s top hotels tempt a visit. The 1920s-inspired Le Magritte bar, located at Mayfair’s five-star Beaumont hotel, beckons with non-alcoholic serves, such as The Therapist (orange juice, pineapple juice, lime juice, Orgeat syrup and cherry juice) and The Six Elements (jasmine and rose syrup, lime syrup, agave syrup and pineapple juice).
Alternatively, fast forward to the 70s and head over to Kings Cross’ The Standard hotel for a selection of low ABV and alcohol-free cocktails. The five-star London spot offers mocktails at their Double Standard bar, including a booze-free Colada, a spicy HotBucha (Kombucha, ginger, chilli, apple and vanilla), and the Blossom Spritzer, which uses peach and white grape soda, with a low-alcohol vermouth.
13. Take a swing and a sip at Junkyard Golf Club
Head to Junkyard Golf‘s Shoreditch branch for half price mini golf games (Ts and Cs on Junkyard Golf‘s website) and a selection of fun mocktails. Catering to most tastes, from sweet to bitter, the mocktails on offer include cucumber and elderflower sour, Sweet Sunrise (cherry shrub, apple, bubble-gum, blue curaçao, ting and sweets) and Coco Cabana (guava, pineapple, watermelon, lime and coconut cream).
14. Make your own mocktails at Macellaio Soho
Steakhouse Macellaio are celebrating Dry January by offering diners a delicious three-course menu and a mocktail masterclass. Taking place on January 11, 18 and 25 between 6.30pm and 9.30pm at their Soho London branch, you’ll learn to mix three fantastic mocktails, using Seedlip Grove non-alcoholic spirits, under the watchful eye of Bar Manager Samuele Lombardi, before enjoying them with a delicious three-course dinner created by Macellaio’s founder and head chef.
