Homeslice Have Dropped A Whole Fish And Chips Meal On Their Latest Pizza Special

Yup, that’s right folks. Homeslice and The Mayfair Chippy have partnered up for National Pizza Day (February 9), and it looks like they want to upset both the Italians and the British! They’re commemorating the occasion with a North-Sea-straddling mashup: enter, the fish and chips pizza. Officially named The Mayfair Chippy Special Pizza, it’s got us absolutely shook to our core.

The unique pie pairs Homeslice’s signature 24-hour proven dough with salt & vinegar cured cod, pea puree, crispy chips, batter scraps, and capers. Yeah, they’re certainly not holding back. They’ve plonked a whole fish and chips meal onto the pie! Sure, we may be sceptical – but we do kind of trust them. After all, Homeslice does cook up some of London’s best pizzas. And The Mayfair Chippy do know their way around some fish and chips.

Where to get the fish and chips pizza

If you fancy giving the unique pie a try, just head on over to Homeslice Marylebone. They’ll be running the special for two weeks from February 9. Plenty of time to force your friends to try out the unique creation with you. As an added plus, each purchase of the fish and chips pizza comes with a free mojito cocktail, courtesy of canned cocktail purveyors, MOTH. Well, at the very least we’re confident the drink will be delicious!

The Mayfair Chippy Special Pie isn’t Homeslice’s first over-the-top creation. And we’re sure it won’t be their last. In the past they’ve offered up such concoctions as the Jubilee Pizza, which topped their dough with Confit Duck, and even a Sunday Roast inspired collab with Ekte. Nordic Kitchen. Heck, there’s even an Air-dried Wagyu Beef and Truffle Crème Fraîche pie on the regular menu!

All that being said, and gentle ribbing aside, the pizza is also doing good for the community. For each pizza sold, The Mayfair Chippy and Homeslice will donate £3.00 to the Felix Project. So, why not go ahead and give the pie a try?
