When will Legally Blonde 3 be released?

Talks of a third film first started back in 2018 with a set release date for Valentine’s Day in 2020. However, due to the pandemic this was pushed back. 

Initially, the release date for Legally Blonde 3 was 20th May 2022, but was postponed so that the film’s co-writers Mindy Kaling – of Never Have I Ever fame – and Brooklyn Nine Nine‘s Dan Goor can work more on the script. We’re waiting patiently, honestly.

Who will star in Legally Blonde 3?

Like us, you’re probably wondering who will be joining Reese in the upcoming movie? Well it’s safe to say the OG cast will all be back, according to the actress.

“I love Jennifer Coolidge and Luke Wilson and Selma Blair and so there’s so many great characters that people love,” Reese told Entertainment Tonight before the film was confirmed.

That said, we’re still very much at the speculations stage, as no cast members have been *OFFICIALLY* confirmed. But seeing as this film has been such a long time in the making, we’re hoping we can trust on all our old faves making a return. Yes, even Warner, so Elle can tell him off all over again.

What can we expect from Legally Blonde 3?

Easter Eggs have been dropped for a while, as far back as 2021, in fact. Speaking to Queer Eye’s Karamo Brown on the 2021 Emmys red carpet, Jennifer Coolidge said that she was ready to “corner” Mindy Kaling, who is producing the new movie.
