A Great British Bake Off Musical Will Land On The West End In Just A Matter Of Days

Piping bags at the ready, folks because a musical version of The Great British Bake Off is finally coming to London’s West End for a limited-time run. On your marks, get set, BAKE SING!

Following a sold-out run back in the summer of 2022 in Cheltenham, The Great British Bake Off Musical is coming to the nation’s capital for twelve weeks. Hitting the floorboards of the Noël Coward Theatre from February 25 – May 13, the musical adaptation follows the amateur bakers battling it out to be crowned star baker. But, of course, it’s not an easy journey.

What to expect from the Bake Off musical

The bakers will face trials, tribulations, and baking failures along the way. Will anything prove more dramatic, though, than custardgate? Or the famous Baked Alaska incident?

The question is: what deserves the Hollywood handshake more when it comes to the stage version of The Great British Bake Off? Does it go to the best bakes? Or the best pipes? You’ll just have to grab your own ticket and go along and find out!

Playing fictional versions of the Bake Off judges are a duo of award-winning acting legends. West End and Broadway star John Own Jones will take on the role of the blue-eyed, silver fox Phil Hollinghurst. Meanwhile, accompanying him will be four-time Olivier Award-nominee and BAFTA-nominee Haydn Gwynne as the iconic, stylish, sharp-tongued Pam Lee. No prizes for guessing who’s supposed to be who!
